TORONTO — The latest edition of the Sunwing Groups Guide is now in distribution to agencies across Canada, outlining all group travel benefits and incentives available on vacation and cruise packages with Sunwing.
The comprehensive travel agent resource includes, new this year, Groups Plus Premium, an extension of the existing benefits available with Groups Plus but with better concessions with participating hotels, says Sunwing.
When a group of 10 or more adults book a vacation, the eighth passenger travels free. Two people travel free when a group of 16 book, and three people travel free when a group of 24 books.
Value-added benefits are also available on pre-booked Sunwing Experiences, where the 21st customer travels free on group excursions, and private transfers are included for groups of 12 or more.
Group Pricing is also available for cruise packages with MSC Cruises, NCL and Marella Cruises where bookings with a minimum of eight double cabins will have the 16th adult travel for free (taxes and fees are extra). Agents who confirm their customers’ bookings by Aug. 28 can also earn 10x STAR Agent Rewards points.
With Sunwing Platinum Club, agents can earn free seats, Elite Plus upgrades and excursion credits with group seats booked under deposit with Sunwing Vacations. Broken up into tiers depending on the number of bookings an agent makes, the higher the tier, the greater the potential rewards.
Sunwing’s STARmillionaire promotion is also back for another year, giving agents the opportunity to win one million STAR Agent Reward points that convert to cash. Agents can qualify by booking a group of 10 adults or more between March 28 and Aug. 28. Departure date must be from Nov. 1 onwards to be applicable. Each new booking confirmed counts as a ballot, so the more bookings an agent makes, the greater chance they have of becoming this year’s STARMillionaire.
“Becoming a STARMillionaire has never been simpler as with Sunwing group bookings, agents can earn commission on every element of the package including the flight, hotel, cruise, private transfers or Sunwing Experiences,” says the company.
