TORONTO — Travellers from Southern Ontario will have another option to get to the beach this winter with the introduction of two new services from Sunwing Airlines and Sunwing Vacations.
Departing from Buffalo Niagara International Airport [BUF] on Saturdays, services to Cancun International Airport [CUN] will begin Jan. 17, 2015 and operate until May 9, 2015, while flights to Punta Cana International Airport [PUJ] will be available between Feb. 14, 2015 and May 9, 2015.
The new routes represent the first direct scheduled international destinations to be offered, increasing the number of airports accessible via a direct connection from Buffalo Niagara International Airport to 22.
Sunwing Airlines’ nonstop flights are operated on state-of-the-art 737-800 series aircraft that seat 189 passengers.

Sunwing travellers departing from Buffalo this winter will be able to choose from a broad selection of all-inclusive vacation packages in both Punta Cana and Cancun.
Introductory pricing for a one-week vacation from Buffalo to Cancun starts from $1,135 plus $140 taxes per person, based on double occupancy at Oasis Tulum departing on Jan. 17, 2015. Buffalo departures to Punta Cana start from $1,195 plus $170 taxes per person, based on double occupancy at Vista Sol Punta Cana departing on May 2, 2015.
