TORONTO — Sunwing Travel Group is celebrating lucky #13, as in its 13th consecutive year on PROFIT Magazine’s list of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies.

The company has reported a five-year growth rate of 156%, which puts it among Canada’s most profitable businesses in terms of revenue growth. It has over 18,000 employees internationally, and is considered the largest integrated travel company in North America.

As the only vertically-integrated travel company included on the list, Sunwing Travel Group operates a leisure charter airline with a fleet of 40 planes, a luxury charter service with access to private jets, three major North American tour operators, two travel retailers, a hotel division with a portfolio exceeding 14,000 rooms, a vacation club and a destination management company.

Sunwing continues to increase its capacity across many of its gateways, reaching 50 different vacation hotspots from over 35 airports across Canada. It offers more top-rated TripAdvisor resorts than any other Canadian travel company. Moreover, its hotel division continues to expand and has risen to become the Caribbean’s fastest-growing resort chain, with a portfolio that will represent 35 properties in eight countries by end of the year.
