TORONTO — For the second consecutive season, Sunwing will be servicing Mont-Joli Regional Airport in Quebec, with its first flights departing yesterday.

On bringing back service to Mont-Joli, Sam Char, Executive Director for Sunwing Travel Group in Quebec, said: “We are pleased to be returning to Mont-Joli Regional Airport for the 2018-2019 season. Last year’s flight program was extremely well received and we’re looking forward to another busy winter taking our customers in the lower St. Lawrence regions to two of our most popular destinations.”

Weekly flight services from Mont-Joli to Cancun and Punta Cana will depart every Thursday until April 11, 2019, inclusive.

Clients heading to Punta Cana can experience some of Sunwing’s latest resorts, including the Royalton Cancun Resort & Spa, opening in early 20190. There’s also the recently opened Riu Dunamar on Playa Mujeres beach, home to its own Splash Water World water park, kids program and complimentary water sports.

Those booking vacations in Punta Cana can enjoy the newly opened Grand Memories Splash and Grand Memories Punta Cana, both of which opened their doors last month in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Both new properties have replaced the former award-winning Memories Splash, and feature renovated rooms and upgraded memories.

Grand Memories Splash is home to one of the largest resort water parks in the Caribbean, featuring a wave pool, seven slides and a splash pad for younger kids. Guests can also upgrade to Diamond Club for dedicated room locations close to the water park, preferential reservations at à la carte restaurants, access to exclusive resort areas and more.

At Grand Memories Punta Cana, guests will notice a more refined and sophisticated ambiance with modern facilities and stylish rooms. Upscale details include a laidback pool complex with brand new sun loungers and Bali beds, plus there’s a modern arcade, a sports bar and a casino next door at Royalton Punta Cana. Guests will also enjoy unlimited access to the on-site Splash Water Park.

Guests at both properties can take advantage of Royalton Punta Cana’s offerings, which include complimentary non-motorized water sports, dining venues, fitness centre, the Royal Spa and daily Royalton Fit classes.
