TORONTO — Sunwing is boosting its Ottawa schedule this winter, with new direct weekly service to Los Cabos.

The first-time route for Sunwing will operate with Thursday departures from Dec. 20, 2018 through April 11, 2019. With the addition of this new flight Sunwing will offer Ottawa travellers 11 different flight options for winter getaways.

“We are delighted to be providing our customers in Ottawa with even more travel options this coming winter,” says Andrew Dawson, President of Tour Operations. “Los Cabos is consistently one of our popular vacation destinations and we’re sure this new service will be well received.”

Sunwing’s resort options in Los Cabos include the soon-to-come Riu Palace Baja California. When it opens in December, the adults-only resort will combine a scenic location overlooking the Los Cabos coastline with four ocean-facing infinity pools, five specialty restaurants, 24-hour room service and free Wi-Fi throughout the resort. Riu Palace Baja California guests will also get access to facilities at the neighbouring Riu Sante Fe and its new Splash Water World water park, weekly themed pool parties and more.

Another options, Paradisus Los Cabos, has location to spare on a private crescent cove beach. Paradisus Los Cabos features dedicated services for families and adults, an array of included activities like yoga and Pilates and a kids’ club that also has a kids’ lounge with its own buffet.
