SEPT-ÎLES — This winter Sunwing is offering not just Cancun flights from Sept-Îles, QC, but new weekly flight service to Punta Cana as well.

Sunwing says it’s the first season that the travel company has offered vacationers in the region two different destinations from their local airport. Both routes will be available between Dec. 12, 2018 and April 10, 2019.

“Sunwing is proud to be the only leisure carrier to offer vacation packages directly from Sept-Îles,” says Executive Vice President of Sunwing Travel Group Quebec, Sam Char. “Both Cancun and Punta Cana are consistently two of our most popular destinations and we are delighted to be offering local residents even more convenient and affordable travel from Sept-Îles Airport this year.”

Resort options in Punta Cana and Cancun include the new Grand Memories Punta Cana, the newly-renovated Riu Palace Punta Cana and, just north of Cancun in Playa Mujeres, the recently opened Riu Dunamar. There’s also the top-rated adults only resort, Platinum Yucatan Princess All Suites Resort and Spa, with no fewer than 13 pools and exchange privileges at neighbouring resorts Grand Riviera Princess and Grand Sunset Princess.
