TORONTO — Travel agents can be among the first to experience the brand new Barceló Maya Riviera with a Grand Opening Promotion that includes rates for just US$80 per person.

Slated to open on December 15, the resort is offering Canadian- and U.S.-based travel agents, plus one companion, pre-holiday discounted stays between Dec. 15-23, 2019 for $80 per person, per night, based on double occupancy. Bookings must be made before Dec. 23 and a valid travel agent ID and/or credentials must be presented at time of check-in.

Upon opening, the adults-only, all-inclusive, new-build Barceló Maya Riviera will offer 850 Junior Suites and Suites, 110 Swim Up Suites, four pools, five bars and five restaurants, as well are resort sharing privileges with the other five resorts within the Barcelo Maya Grand Resort.

Travel agents were given a sneak peek of the resort at a trade event earlier this month in Toronto, where Luis Chaverri, Sales Executive of Barceló Maya Riviera, referred to the resort as a destination unto itself. The resort will open at the same time as Barcelo Maya Arena, the largest convention centre and meetings inventory in the region with a capacity of 8,000.
