MONTREAL — Air Canada will launch six new nonstop U.S. services in spring 2017, including Toronto flights to San Antonio, Memphis and Savannah, Montreal to Dallas-Fort Worth and Vancouver to Denver. Air Canada will also convert its Vancouver-Phoenix route to year-round.
The new nonstop services will be operated by Air Canada Express starting in May 2017 and will continue year-round, except for Toronto-Savannah, which will operate on a summer seasonal basis.
Both San Antonio and Memphis will be offered daily out of Toronto starting May 1. The Vancouver-Phoenix flights will be daily as well, starting May 1. The seasonal Savannah route starts May 1 and runs until Oct. 15 with six times weekly service. Vancouver-Denver starts May 18 with twice daily flights and Montreal-Dallas Fort Worth starts May 26 with daily service.
“These new routes will further solidify Air Canada’s position as the leader in the Canada-U.S. transborder market and as the foreign carrier flying the most to the U.S. Apart from linking Canada’s largest cities with popular U.S. destinations, these new and expanded services will also serve to channel traffic to and from our domestic and international networks through our major airport hubs, contributing to the success of our ongoing global expansion,” said Benjamin Smith, President, Passenger Airlines.
