MIAMI — Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts has confirmed six properties slated for reopening between November 1 and December 15.

- Bahia Principe Luxury Samana (Nov. 1)
- Bahia Principe Grand Aquamarine (Nov. 15)
- Bahia Principe Grand La Romana (Dec. 15)
- Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka’an (Nov. 1)
This brings the total number of open Bahia Principe properties to 16 hotels in the D.R., Jamaica, and Mexico.
“At Bahia Principe, we are betting for a brighter future and feel proud to be able to reopen six properties in the Caribbean and Mexico before the end of the year,” said Antonio Teijeiro, Chief Operating Officer at Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts.
“We continue taking care of our clients with the correct health and safety protocols. Although there have been challenges in 2021, we are doing our utmost best to continue to serve our guests, contribute to the local communities in which we operate, and provide peace of mind to our stakeholders,” he added.
From now until Oct. 17 guests can take advantage of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts’ Countdown to Happiness sale offering savings of up to 60%, a complimentary stay for one child at select properties, and up to US$1,630 in resort credits via the brand’s Trip Enhancer program when booking vacations. The travel window runs through Oct. 31, 2022.
Bahia Principe’s health and hygiene protocols include proper social distancing and indoor mask mandates, and digitalizing experiences and key signage throughout the resorts. The brand currently offers on-site COVID-19 testing at attractive price points in collaboration with local labs.
