TORONTO — NARAT has announced a 13-day educational Ultimate Tunisia deluxe fam taking place May 1 – 13.

“From captivating old town Tunis, to the blue and white houses of the Mediterranean city of Sidi Bou Said, from ancient castles to riding camels in the desert, from historic Carthage to the cave dwellings of Matmata, setting where scenes from the movie Star Wars were filmed, to luxury tented camping in a Sahara Oasis, travel agents get a chance to experience a country filled with mystery and adventure travellers crave,” says NARAT.

A visit to Tunisia incorporates one amazing site after another “including some of the best UNESCO Roman heritage sites you will see anywhere in the world,” adds the company.

The Ultimate Tunisia fam explores the capital Tunis, Gammarth, Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, Sbeitla, Tozeur Oasis. Douz, Matmata, Jerba Island, Tataouine, El Djem and Sousse.

The fam is open to all members of the travel industry however owners, individuals in managerial positions and qualified agents have priority acceptance.

The minimum pre-requisite is two years of travel-selling experience. One companion per agent is allowed.

Accommodation is in five-star deluxe and luxury hotels, riad and includes an overnight in a luxury Sahara desert camp.

In Tunisia agents can also experience some of the country’s finest luxury spas.

The cost of the fam is US$2,440 plus $445 in taxes. The cost includes return international airfare, transfers, fam program with cultural activities, entrance fees, twin accommodation and meals. Single accommodation is subject to availability.
