For travellers who wants to see it all in Hawaii, Trafalgar’s got a package that includes four islands in 13 days.
‘Hawaii Four Island Adventure Moderate’ starts on the island of Oahu where clients will spend four nights in the heart of Waikiki Beach. They’ll have plenty of free time to explore colourful villages, rainforests and pineapple plantations, not to mention take in panoramic views at Pali Lookout, site of the historic Battle of Nuuanu in 1795.
After a short scenic flight to the island of Hawaii, they’ll enjoy an orientation tour of the seaside village of Kailua-Kona, followed by time to shop at local shops. Kona is famous for its coffee, which clients will learn more about at a local coffee plantation with a Local Specialist. Later in the evening, they’ll sample the island’s rich flavours at Rays on the Bay featuring views of the resident manta rays.
In Maui, highlights include the Maui Ocean Centre where clients will be introduced to conservation naturalists. The centre is home to the world’s largest collection of live Pacific corals, elusive Hawaiian green sea turtles, sharks and thousands of tropical fish. From there, guests will head into the countryside to visit a local farm and learn about sustainable agriculture before indulging in a Be My Guest lunch made with fresh local ingredients.
The trip winds down in Kauai with a visit to Grove Farm Sugar Plantation and incredible views at Waimea Canyon. A free day will afford time for guests to travel by helicopter over the Na Pali Coast and Manawaiopuna, commonly referred to as ‘Jurassic Park Falls’. A special Farewell Dinner with a Travel Director caps off the final night on Kauai.
