This year is a great time to visit Orlando’s theme parks, with an array of new attractions and offers enticing travellers. At SeaWorld Orlando, the state’s tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster – Mako – opens June 10 as the new centerpiece of the new two-acre, shark-themed realm, which also includes Shark Encounter, Sharks Underwater Grill and shipwreck-themed educational experiences. In addition, the park just opened Manatee Rehabilitation, which allows guests to come face-to-face with ill or injured animals and follow their journey to recovery.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is gearing up for the grand debut of Cobras Curse this summer. The spin coaster will be the only one of its kind in the world, featuring a 70-foot vertical lift and a 30,000-pound snake king icon.
Over at SeaWorld San Diego, Canadians can take in the sights and sounds of ‘Summer Nights’, available on select dates from May 28-Sept. 5. Summer Nights includes Shamu Celebration: Light up the Night, and the hilarious Sea Lions Tonite, plus the nighttime fireworks finale.
