VANCOUVER — Scenic is once again partnering with acclaimed Canadian musician Jann Arden for an eight-day sailing along Portugal’s Douro River.

Marking her third river cruise with Scenic, Arden will board the 96-guest Scenic Azure alongside guests for an all-inclusive roundtrip sailing out of Porto on Oct. 30, 2023. The 5-star ‘Space-Ship’ will visit Portugal’s top sites, from the Baroque village of Lamego, to the terraced vineyards and charming towns just beyond the banks of the Douro. Guests will also enjoy a tasting at the fairytale property of Quinta da Aveleda, kayak along the Pinhão River, cross the Spanish border to tour Salamanca, and participate in a range of activities onboard like mosaic tile painting, a port wine cocktail lesson and a Portuguese cooking demonstration.

During the voyage, Arden, who was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2020, will host three exclusive experiences: an opening night welcome reception; an intimate Q&A session; and an onboard evening concert. 

Prices start at $7,395 per person, double. Guests who book by March 31, 2023 can fly for $695 per person (or receive a credit of $600) and save an additional $1,000 per couple if the fare is paid in full at the time of booking.
