TORONTO — Building on the success of its last online series earlier this summer, the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority has announced that its free educational webinars for travel agents will continue throughout July.
Each hour-long episode will be hosted live by the Tourism Authority and provide an insider’s guide to Saint Lucia’s top offerings. Market representatives will be on hand to answer questions and virtually transport agents to Saint Lucia to learn about the latest COVID-19 travel protocols, must-do experiences and other differentiating aspects of the destination.
Agents can register here. The one-time registration provides access to the full series. Remaining shows in the program will broadcast live from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EDT on the following dates:
- July 13 – Culture & Arts: Learn Creole lingo, meet legendary jazz musician Ronald ‘Boo’ Hinkson, take a peek into local fashion and more
- July 20 – Culinary Delights & Dining: Check out the food scene at local eateries, learn about local specialties and chat with the National Culinary Team leader
- July 27 – Dive into Saint Lucia: Get the inside scoop from dive masters about scuba diving and other offerings below the sea
Saint Lucia Tourism Authority’s last virtual series saw over 12,000 views across six continents, with over 20 experiences, resorts and local attractions presenting. Episode 1, Saint Lucia Sailing, went live on July 7 and can be viewed on YouTube here.
