TORONTO — Reps4Rent is inviting the travel industry to a fun day on the slopes in support of Food Bank of Canada.

Taking place Feb. 22, 2024 at Beaver Valley Ski Club in Markdale, Ontario, ‘Travel Ski Day’ will not only include ski time but also lunch, a cocktail party and raffle prizes, all in support of Canadians living with food insecurity. 

According to Food Bank of Canada, which supports a network of 10 provincial associations and more than 4,750 hunger relief organizations in every province and territory, food bank use is at the highest level in Canadian history while at the same time, food banks are facing risking costs and decreasing donations.

“While inflation continues to drive more Canadians into their local food banks, we felt this was the time to offer an event that offers great networking opportunities while also supporting such a worthy cause,” said Tracey Nurmi, Director of Sales Via Rail, one of the event’s founding sponsors.
