TORONTO — SATA Group has achieved a new record – one million passengers for the year by June 30, about two months earlier than last year.

SATA Group includes both Azores Airlines and SATA Air Azores. Azores Airlines is the only airline offering nonstop service to the Azores year-round from Toronto and from Montreal during the summer. Clients can either explore the nine islands in the Azores, or connect to Lisbon, Porto, Madeira, Barcelona, Bilbao, Paris, Frankfurt, or Cape Verde.

Fares from Canada permit stopovers for up to seven days in the Azores for free.
