MONTEGO BAY — Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart, founder and chairman of Sandals Resorts, has released a special message for the travel community highlighting the importance of advisors.

The video communiqué stresses the fact that what keeps the travel community apart will bring it closer together and that the industry will rebound, coming back stronger than ever by working together through these tough times.

“Every travel agent knows that you’re the backbone of Sandals Resorts,” says Stewart. “I don’t want you to worry, because every little thing is going to be just fine. Love is all you need,” he adds.

The video message comes on the heels of Sandals’ announcement that all Sandals and Beaches Resorts will temporarily close until May 15 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. All impacted guests are being contacted directly to discuss future options.
