MIAMI — Royal Caribbean will debut Quantum of the Seas, the first ship in its groundbreaking Quantum-class, in November when she sails from the New York area and introduces ‘firsts at sea’ such as a RipCord by iFly skydiving experience, a North Star observation pod, bumper cars, virtual balconies and more.

Quantum of the Seas will also feature the industry’s largest and most advanced stateroom accommodations, including lofts and suites designed by HGTV star Genevieve Gorder, as well as sports and fitness offerings influenced by former NFL linebacker Dhani Jones, both part of the Quantum Experience Advisor program.

In spring 2014, Royal Caribbean will also reveal its celebrity advisors in the areas of culinary and entertainment, as well as an all-new, industry-changing dining program. Last but not least, as part of Royal Caribbean’s Broadway at Sea offerings, Quantum of the Seas will feature a Tony Award-winning performance of Mamma Mia!, the smash hit musical based on the songs of Swedish pop group ABBA.
