Prior to that Rose was District Sales Manager for the Western and South Western USA. In total he brings more than 20 years of experience to his new post.

“We wish to thank Philip for his role in helping to grow the Canadian market and look forward to leveraging his skills to build on our U.S. success,“ said Donnie Dawson, Deputy Director of Tourism, The Americas.

We congratulate him on this appointment and are confident that he will continue to be a great ambassador for destination Jamaica.”

With a proven track record at growing markets even during economically challenging times, Rose will seek to bring his expertise and business acumen to further grow arrivals from the Northeast USA, he added.
