FORT LAUDERDALE — Riviera River Cruises is extending its at-par incentive for Canadian travel advisors until the end of June. With the extension, Riviera will continue accepting bookings for 2023 departures on its European river cruises in Canadian dollars equivalent to prices listed in U.S. dollars through to June 30, 2023. The incentive had been sent to expire at the end of May.
“With current exchange rates, booking one of our river cruises in Canadian dollars at part with U.S. prices is a great way to save on a European vacation right now,” said Marilyn Conroy, Riviera River Cruises’ Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing North America.
“And now Canadian travel advisors and their clients have more time to take advantage of this incentive as we’re extending it through next month. If you’re still looking to sail the Rhine, Danube, Rhône, Douro or another river, we hope you’ll think of us first.”
With the at-par incentive, for example, a Blue Danube river cruise with a price of US$2,929 per person will be booked at Can$2,929, resulting in savings of about US$762, or Can$1,030 based on the exchange rate last week.
Savings are based on the exchange rate at the time final payment s applied. The offer, available exclusively to Canadian travel advisors, is valid on new bookings of 2023 departures made through June 30, 2023. The offer is not valid for single-occupancy cabins and solo traveller cruises are excluded.
Riviera River Cruises offers a total of 20 itineraries on 10 European rivers and waterways throughout the year, including exclusive departures for solo travellers with no single supplement and holiday season cruises. It promises never to add hidden surcharges or fees, and it does not automatically include gratuities or drinks, leaving the choice up to guests.
