KITCHENER — RIU Hotels & Resorts and Sunwing got together to thank their top-performing agents this month with appreciation lunches in Quebec City and Kitchener, ON.

On Dec. 4 and Dec. 5 top producing agents were invited to enjoy a complimentary lunch, meet with RIU and Sunwing sales teams and learn about upcoming renovation and expansion plans for RIU Hotels & Resorts.

At both events, Director of Business Development for Partner Marketing, Hugo Aguilera, talked to attendees about the latest resorts that opened in Mexico including Riu Palace Costa Mujeres and Riu Palace Baja California.

There was also talk of RIU Hotels & Resorts’ plans to expand the chain’s Splash Water World water parks and upcoming renovations planned for 2019 at Riu Ocho Rios, Riu Palace Riviera Maya and Riu Vallarta.

Aguilera also took time out to celebrate the longstanding partnership between Sunwing and RIU describing the travel company as their “one and only partner in Canada.”

President of Tour Operations for Sunwing, Andrew Dawson, who attended the event in Kitchener along with Executive Vice President of Partner Development, Eric Rodriguez, also commented on the event. “We value our partnership with RIU enormously.
