TORONTO — Save the dates for Travel Leaders Network’s exclusive industry Mixers, held this year in 22 cities across Canada.
Hosted by Travel Leaders Network Canada’s Business Development Managers, Caroline Belgrave (Western Region) and Melissa Wheaton (Eastern Region), these popular local events continue to consistently sell out throughout the year, allowing key suppliers to interact face-to-face with owners, managers and travel advisors, all at no cost to members.
Evenings typically begin with an informal mini-trade show and cocktail hour, followed by dinner during which each supplier delivers a brief overview of revenue-generating promotions and exclusive offers available to members. Anywhere from 40 to 100 attendees can register, making each event a small and intimate affair.
“Each mixer provides an excellent opportunity for supplier partners to network with agents, build personal relationships, share new information and programs to grow their business and solicit ideas and feedback from members,” said Christine James, Vice President of Travel Leaders Network in Canada. “In turn, it is a valuable opportunity for members to get together, share best business practices, hear updates and receive product knowledge from supplier partners while building an overall sense of strength and community. We understand that if our members and supplier partners are successful, we are successful and that’s a winning proposition.”
