TORONTO — For any travel agent with ski clients, Utah’s upcoming webinar will highlight exactly why the destination is home to the ‘Greatest Snow on Earth.’
Taking place July 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. ET and launched in collaboration with Travelweek, the online session will be hosted by Corey Marshall, Director for Canada, Utah Office of Tourism, who’ll provide insight into Utah’s many winter tourist offerings, including 15 ski resorts, 10 of which are under an hour from Salt Lake City International Airport. The state is also home to seven national monuments, five national parks and 24 International Dark Sky Places, making it the ultimate road trip destination.
“The Utah Office of Tourism is thrilled to once again partner with Travelweek to engage with the Canadian travel industry,” said Marshall. “We have maintained our investment in the Canadian market throughout the pandemic as we know it will be one of the first markets to recover. We have seen a ton of great tourism product innovation during this period, including new Rocky Mountaineer rail routes, Dark Sky parks, adventure tourism experiences and enhancements to our ski resorts. We will discuss this and more during our Travelweek Canadian update!”
Marshall also added that the webinar will highlight the state’s new tourism brand, ‘Utah: America’s Filmset.’ Over 70% of the state’s visitors have said that seeing Utah in film scenes was a major reason for visiting.
In addition to product updates, the Utah Office of Tourism will be giving one lucky attendee a $200 pre-paid MasterCard gift card.
