TORONTO — Registration has opened for UNITE by Saleint’s new Global Virtual Trade Show, which will combine the leisure and MICE industries for two days of scheduled meetings and speaker sessions.
Set to take place on Sept. 16 and 17, UNITE 2020 will focus on the key pillars of Social Awareness, Collaboration, Inclusiveness, Unity and Responsible Tourism. It will feature 18 exhibitors and over 100 buyers, allowing for travel industry to peers to collaborate entirely online.
Exhibitors will have up to 50 matched meetings with quality buyers “for a fraction of the acquisition cost,” says Saleint Inc. Interactions will take place over video, voice and text chat to ensure productive conversations. Detailed post-show reports will provide information on buyer activity at an exhibitor’s virtual booth, including downloads, attendance and document/video views.
For buyers, all meetings will be scheduled in the buyer’s time zone. The two-day lineup will include speaker sessions and an exclusive ‘from the eye of a traveller series’, during which buyers will hear about a destination from the point of view of travellers.
Attendees will also be able to enter point-based contests, with the current top prize valued at US$1,200. For each ‘live’ attendee, UNITE will give a $1 donation to a worthy cause.
Buyer registration fee is being waived until Aug. 10, 2020 with limited spots per country. To register as a Leisure buyer, click here.
