TORONTO — XpoPRO Mobile Events, a division of TravPRO Mobile, will host its 2nd annual All American Roadshow on Tuesday, June 29, from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. EDT/ 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. PDT.
The virtual event aims to provide North American travel advisors key information from U.S. exhibitors, and will be sponsored by Travel Oregon and Visit Utah.
“The All American Roadshow is where it all started last year, and after 40+ additional shows and refinements, we couldn’t be more excited to bring travel advisors the second edition of AARS, during a time when the world is once again opening up and the US is welcoming travellers from abroad. Discover new recommendations, big deals, cool prizes and insights from other advisors on strategies and tips to utilize to grow your business as things open up further,” said Jonathan Cooper, CEO/Founder of TravPRO and XpoPRO Mobile.
Thousands of travel advisor attendees from the U.S. and Canada will have the opportunity to connect with over 25 U.S. suppliers and destinations, share in-depth content from exhibitor booths directly with their clients, earn chances to win prizes, and network one-on-one with exhibiting partners.
Educational breakout sessions will focus on the following topics:
- Black culture and heritage tours
Hear from Stephanie Jones, Founder of The National Blacks in Travel and Tourism Collaborative (BTT) and President of the Cultural Heritage Alliance for Tourism (CHAT). The CHAT is a Black-owned tour operator based in Miami, who has launched a national road trip to develop more Black culture-and heritage-focused tours and promote minority travel businesses.
- Working with tour operators for U.S. travel
Catherine Prather, President, National Tour Association will lead an engaging conversation with Nish Patel, President, Mayflower Cruises & Tours and Suzanne Slavitter, Owner, Sports Empire, to understand the benefits of working with tour operators in these evolving times, how these operators have adapted their businesses in the pandemic and what they’re doing to engage travel advisors as US travel continues to open throughout the summer and beyond.
- Discovering America’s National Parks
With more than 400 national parks in the National Park System and thousands of historic and recreational lands across the country, there are endless ways to help your clients find their unique connection, say organizers. This session will be led by Donald Leadbetter, Tourism Program Manager, U.S. National Park Service and Jody Blaney, Global Markets Specialist, Visit Utah.
- Connecting travellers with local communities through storytelling
“We know that travel advisors will be an integral piece to booking travel now more than ever, but how to differentiate, especially when it comes to domestic travel? The answer is showing how to meet and support local communities. GLP Films shows you how character-based storytelling can help.” This session is presented by Rob Holmes, Founder & Chief Strategist, GLP Films.
- Travel advisors’ tips and trends for selling the U.S.
JJ Villani, VP Sales & Business Development, TravPRO Mobile, will lead a discussion on the value that advisors bring now more than ever and on the trends like family, adventure and luxury.
The All American Roadshow is the third of six shows in the 2021 PRO Show Series and promises to be a productive event for travel advisors, whether they already are familiar with selling the U.S. or completely new to it. The exhibit floor and all content will be accessible to all attendees for 30 days past the show date.
XpoPRO Mobile has a roster of ground-breaking virtual shows to follow, including the Romance Travel Xpo, the Luxury Travel Xpo, and the Europe Travel Xpo.
