LIMA — Travel agents are invited to PROMPERÚ’S upcoming virtual networking event where they will learn all about the destination and win fabulous giveaways and prizes.

Scheduled for Nov. 3-4 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. EDT, ‘Peru Calling Virtual Xpo’ will be hosted by the Peruvian Tourism Board (PROMPERÚ) and feature 24 exhibitors representing tour operators, accommodations, airlines, river cruises, trains and museums, all of which will be available to agents via live chat.

A limited number of agents will be invited to pre-scheduled appointments with participating suppliers.

During the four-hour event, agents will learn about Peru’s multicultural offerings, traditions, cuisine and wealth of natural reserves during engaging breakout sessions. In addition, exhibitors will share exclusive special offers and discounts, plus agents will have the chance to win partner giveaways and $1,000 in Amazon gift cards.

“After the success of the Peru Calling Virtual Xpo in 2020, we wanted to bring back this event to advisors in 2021 in a two-day event and add additional features like one-to-one pre-scheduled meetings to help them connect with Peruvian suppliers,” said María del Sol Velásquez, Director of Tourism Promotion at PROMPERÚ.
