Meanwhile TICO has announced that it is moving operations to a remote, work-from-home environment, effective today, March 18, until April 3.
“At that time, we will reassess the decision based on the latest information,” said TICO. “Our first priority and focus is our employees’ health and safety.”
TICO reassures that it will “continue to strive to provide the customer service and support that both registrants and consumers expect.”
During this time, most registrant interactions and meetings with TICO will be deferred until further notice, “however our team will continue to be available via email, phone and other collaborative online tools.”
TICO’s employees have the necessary resources and tools to continue its regulatory operations remotely, including answering phone calls and emails.
“There may be challenges along the way and we appreciate your patience as we navigate this unprecedented and rapidly changing environment together,” said TICO.
