TORONTO — Managing risk from future emergency events will be the key focus of ACTA’s upcoming Advocacy Townhall, taking place June 20, 2022.
During the one-hour event, guest presenter and senior accountant Mike Libbey will highlight important lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, and explore specific steps that independent travel agents can take in the event of renewed border measures. Attendees will get the chance to also ask accounting questions and are encouraged to prepare these in advance.
Following Libbey’s presentation, Wendy Paradis, ACTA President, and Avery Campbell, ACTA Director of Advocacy and Industry Relations, will review important updates on ACTA’s advocacy priorities, including issues regarding the labour shortage and borders, followed by a Q&A.
The town hall will take place June 20 from 1-2 p.m. ET, and is complimentary for all ACTA members. Non-members can attend for a $25 fee, which will go towards a new ACTA membership registration in 2022.
