MORRISTOWN, NJ — Travel agents are being asked to save the date for the second virtual Adventure Travel Xpo on April 5.

Hosted by XpoPRO Mobile Events, a division of TravPRO Mobile, the free virtual event will feature international destinations and suppliers and include valuable breakout sessions, an exhibition floor, in-depth trainings, an adventure centre with trivia and $1,000 in gift card giveaways plus additional prizes from exhibitors.

All content and exhibitor showcases can be shared directly with clients on social media or via email. Exhibitors will be available from 12:00-4:00 p.m. ET / 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. PT on April 5 through the Live Chat. The event will also remain on demand for 30 days.

According to the Adventure Travel Trade Association, adventure travel is defined as any tourist activity that includes two of the following three components: some sort of physical activity, a cultural exchange, or immersion and interaction with nature.

“Adventure travel is not necessarily an intense backpacker experience, it can also be a more relaxed itinerary including gentle exercise while travellers enjoy their connection with local culture and their environment,” says XpoPRO Vice President Dean Jacobberger. “This Advnture Travel Xpo will explore diverse aspects and will provide advisors with contacts and tools to sell adventure to a wider audience.”
