TORONTO — Top travel suppliers including VIA Rail Canada, Travelweek, Globus family of brands and Manulife are partnering with Reps4Rent to host a travel industry Ski Day next month.

Taking place Thursday, Feb 22, 2024 at Beaver Valley Ski Club in Markdale, ON, the event promises to be a fun day on the slopes.

There’s a giving-back opportunity as well, as the Ski Day will support Food Banks Canada.

“As more Canadians turn to use their local food bank, we felt this was the time to offer an event with great networking opportunities while also supporting an amazing cause,” said Tracey Nurmi, Director of Sales for VIA Rail, one of the founding sponsors.

“The day is not only for skiers and will offer activities for those either wanting to be active outside, or inside. Including lunch and an après ski scene, there is lots of fun to be had and fundraising to be done,” adds Cassandra Jackson, President, Reps4Rent.

Tickets and sponsorships are available to be purchased at https://trellis.org/travel-industry-ski-day. Help with fundraising – the goal is $50,000 – by purchasing Ski Day tickets today. Spots to hit the slopes are selling out fast.

Travel to the event will be available via coach bus from the King City Carpool Lot. “If you plan on taking the coach bus, please ensure to add a coach bus seat when purchasing your tickets,” says Jackson.
