TRAC is considered the only rail training program to include all of Europe’s major train operators

PARIS — Rail Europe has launched a new e-learning tool designed for travel agents around the world.

Launched as part of its new 2021 global training campaign, ‘The Rail Agent Course’ (TRAC) is considered the only comprehensive rail training program to include all of Europe’s major train operators. It comprises eight modules, each one taking approximately 12 minutes to complete, with the overall duration of the course lasting about 90 minutes. 

TRAC is also available via a dedicated app.

“European rail travel offers are rich and are constantly evolving. Rail Europe thus believes that whilst waiting for international travel to resume, this is the perfect time for training, discovery and readiness to again promote and sell rail journeys,” says Florence Pasquier, Head of Business at Rail Europe.

Each week, Rail Europe also hosts informative webinars on a variety of travel destinations on its YouTube channel and e-learning portal. Agents will also find webinars on how to connect with Rail Europe’s Easy Rail Access booking tool. Other downloadable resources available on the portal include brochures on how to travel in Europe by train and how to book tickets with Rail Europe.
