TORONTO — France at a discount? Do tell. Rail Europe has announced that it is now offering its France Rail Pass at a discount in celebration with the world-renowned Cannes Film Festival, taking place from May 11-22.

From now until June 2, travellers can receive US$50 off a 1st Class France Rail Pass using coupon code FRPSPRING50. The Pass offers extensive travel on the national rail network of France along with travel bonuses, city passes and discounted attractions.

France Rail Pass options include: a choice of any 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 days of rail travel within a one-month period or 15 days of rail travel within a two-month period. Travel days can be used consecutively or non-consecutively. Guests can also choose among 2, 4, 5, 8 or 15 days, consecutive only.

Travellers can purchase their pass now and have up to 11 months to validate. The France Rail Pass also offers free travel for up to two children (age 4-11) with each adult and senior.
