Quintana Roo Tourism Promotion Council debuts ‘Luxury Experience’ Campaign

CANCUN — The Quintana Roo Tourism Promotion Council’s (CPTQ) new ‘Luxury Experience by Mexican Caribbean’ campaign showcases the Mexican Caribbean’s high-level offerings across its 12 key destinations.

“Luxury is a deeply personal experience, and each of our destinations provide travelers the freedom to define luxury on their own terms, whether that means having the luxury of time, exclusivity, or extraordinary experiences,” said Andres Martinez, Director of the CPTQ. “From designer shopping to pristine, white-sand beaches, cutting-edge spa treatments, and globally recognized golf courses, the Mexican Caribbean is unlike any other luxury destination in the world, and our transformative offerings will provide lifelong memories for all who visit.”

The campaign focuses on personal wellbeing, exquisite cuisine and tailored experiences, he added. The destination’s 559 miles of coastline, thriving culinary scenes, iconic Mayan archaeological sites, and marquee events figure predominantly as well.

Five-star resorts include Atelier Playa Mujeres, Banyan Tree Mayakoba, Habitas Bacalar and Be Tulum Beach & Spa Resort.

Highlighting the region’s global acclaim, 18 hotels and resorts in the Mexican Caribbean were recently awarded MICHELIN Keys in the inaugural recognition of Mexico’s most outstanding hotels. Several properties secured spots on The World’s 50 Best Hotels list for 2024.

When Mexico’s first-ever MICHELIN nods were announced this past April, the region stood out with One Star designations for Cocina de Autor Riviera Maya, located within Grand Velas Riviera Maya; Le Chique, located within Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun in Puerto Morelos; and HA’, located within Hotel Xcaret in Riviera Maya.

Catering to the endless demand for one-of-a-kind and often high-end experiences, visitors can opt for private yacht charters, exclusive cenote tours, and immersive journeys into Mayan culture, all curated by top-rated tour operators.

YachtLife and Riviera Maya Catamarans offer luxury private sailing and yacht charters throughout the Mexican Caribbean. Xcaret Yachts offers upscale private yacht tours aboard 45- and 50-foot Vanquish vessels, accommodating 14 to 16 passengers. And focusing on luxury travel experiences, Journey Mexico arranges private yacht charters, exclusive villa stays and curated cultural tours with expert guides and personalized itineraries.

Meanwhile the always-popular destination of Cozumel offers top-level scuba diving at 40 dive sites. High-end cruise lines coming into port include Seabourn and Ritz-Carlton Yachts.
