LOS ANGELES — Qantas is sharing details about its first-ever 24-hour Leap Day Sale.

Says Qantas: “Many travellers list Australia among their top ‘bucket list’ trips, but say the extended flight time remains a barrier to booking their trip Down Under. However, the 2024 Leap Year gives travelers an extra 24 hours to offset the flight time, creating the perfect opportunity to make the journey a reality.”

Valid for 24 hours on Feb. 29, 2024, the Qantas Leap Day Sale will offer Canadian travellers Cdn$250 off nonstop roundtrip Economy cabin fares on Qantas operated or marketed flights, including nonstop Qantas flights from Vancouver to Sydney.

The sale is for bookings at Qantas.com (enter code LEAPDAY in the ‘have a promo code?’ prompt at the top of the flight search results page). The Qantas Leap Day promo will be valid from 12:01 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. PST on Feb. 29. Select travel dates and blackout periods apply. Fares may not be available on all flights or days. Fares are valid for Qantas operated flights.
