TORONTO — Qantas has launched a new Canadian sale that includes discounted airfares from Vancouver.
The “Red Tail Sale” runs from July 18-24, 2023 across all cabins for varying travel periods in 2023 and 2024. Roundtrip nonstop flights between Vancouver and Sydney are available from $1,499 (Economy), $3,199 (Premium Economy), and $6,299 (Business).
Qantas continues to see strong demand from Canadian travellers since the airline resumed flights from Vancouver to Sydney in December 2021, when Australian international borders reopened. Pre-COVID, the airline operated seasonally on the route; today, it operates three return flights per week, year-round, with its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, which carries 236 passengers and features the latest version of its Business Suite, nicknamed ‘mini First Class’ by frequent flyers.
The airline has also started to roll out a multi-million-dollar investment in new menus, larger meals and premium produce across all cabins in its regional, domestic and international network, including on flights from Canada.
Qantas international fares include checked baggage, food and beverages and inflight entertainment as standard with every booking.
COVID credits received during the pandemic can be used when booking the sale fares at qantas.com, for travel through December 2024 and earn Double Points.
