MONTREAL — The new ProfessionVoyages.com website made its debut last night at an industry launch party hosted by President Ariane Cloutier.
ProfessionVoyages.com, an affiliate of Travelweek, offers travel industry news and insights for French-speaking travel agents.
Taking place at La Vitrine Culturelle de Montréal, the launch showcased a completely revamped website with a brand new look. “Inspiring, immersive and interactive” are now the hallmarks of professionvoyages.com, said Cloutier.
Travel and tourism news will be posted daily with a user-friendly navigation. Travel executives, as well as key players from other industries, are featured. The ‘Info-Video’ link includes 12 capsules featuring sales managers, association presidents and more, talking about their product and offering industry insights. Current video postings include Claudio Pisanti with Aloft Montreal Airport and Jean Collette with the Association des Agents de Voyages du Quebec. “This concept will allow professionals to access a concise, professional and entertaining message through a high-quality video,” says Cloutier.
ProfessionVoyages.com has also forged a unique partnership with Ocean TV to highlight different travel destinations and styles through ProfessionVoyages.tv, also linked from the site. “We have long wanted a portal for information such as this and are delighted with the performance of this partnership,” said Ocean TV President – Producer Remy St-Gelais.
A whole team supports the development of “the little sister of Travelweek” as Cloutier likes to call ProfessionVoyages.com. “We will cover events differently. I will be accompanied by a videographer to produce high quality reports,” she said.
Also at the launch, Cloutier presented ProfessionVoyages.com’s new Editor in Chief, Marine Kaysen, formerly director marketing & communication for Club Med Canada. “I am delighted with this new collaboration and projects to come for ProfessionVoyages.com. I truly believe in this new platform,” said Kaysen.
