MONTREAL — Air Transat passengers can now purchase dishes from its winter 2018-2019 edition of the Chef’s Menu by Daniel Vézina for flights booked for Nov. 1 onward.
The decadent meal options will be served as of Nov. 1 to all passengers free of charge in Club Class, while those in Economy can purchase menu meals ($25 for lunch/dinner and $15 for breakfast) up to 48 hours before their flight (available in limited quantity).
For lunch/dinner, options include an all new artichoke and spinach lasagna with ricotta, cheese and tomato orzo risotto, pork filet mignon with Quebec blueberries, braised leg of lamb, sweet potato gnocchi with Bolognese sauce, and chicken ragout. Each meal is served with a cheese plate, dessert and a glass of wine.
For breakfast, passengers have a choice between a spinach and basil omelette, and crepes with goat cheese and smoke salmon. Both are served with a plain croissant, yogurt, orange juice and coffee.
“When planning a vacation, we often go over every little detail, deciding where we want to go and what we want to eat,” said Jean-François Lemay, President-General Manager of Air Transat. “Air Transat now encourages its passengers to plan their culinary experience 10,000 feet in the air by pre-ordering their meals from the Chef’s Menu by Daniel Vézina.”
