TORONTO — Starting Feb. 14, 2024 Porter Airlines will offer new service between Ottawa and Calgary.
The daily flights will operate out of Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and Calgary International Airport (YYC) on Porter’s new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. It’s the latest expansion into Western Canada from Ottawa for the airline, complementing existing flights to Vancouver and Edmonton and providing connections to destinations across Eastern Canada and the U.S.
From Ottawa, starting Feb. 14, flights depart at 6:20 p.m., arriving in Calgary at 8:49 p.m. On the return leg, starting Feb. 15, flights depart Calgary at 8:50 a.m., arriving in Ottawa at 2:40 p.m.
“This route is another way for passengers to travel across Canada with Porter, including significant connecting flight options via Ottawa. Passengers can look forward to enjoying an elevated economy experience they won’t find anywhere else,” said Kevin Jackson, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Porter Airlines.
