MISSISSAUGA — TICO has issued an Immediate Temporary Suspension Order to suspend the registration of Toronto-based Temple & Temple Tours Inc.

The travel agency (TICO Registration #2970024) specializes in educational tours for student group travel.

Temple & Temple Tours Inc. must cease all travel sales and counselling activity immediately.

It is alleged that Temple & Temple Tours Inc. has not been financially responsible in the conduct of its business, is carrying on activities in contravention of the Travel Industry Act, 2002, and there are reasons to believe that it will not carry on business in accordance with the law and with integrity and honesty as per section 8 of the Act, says TICO.

TICO has also issued a Notice of Proposal to Revoke the registration of Temple & Temple Tours Inc.

Temple & Temple Tours Inc. is entitled to a hearing by the Licence Appeal Tribunal about the proposal to revoke its registration.
