LONDON — Travellers in transit now have the option to stay on site at London Heathrow’s terminal 3 with the opening of a new hotel by Plaza Premium Group.
Aerotel London Heathrow is located at Terminal 3 Arrivals and occupies two floors with 82 smartly-designed guestrooms. Open 24/7, it offers round-the-clock check in/out and 6-hour, 9-hour, 12-hour and overnight packages starting at approximately Can$80.
“Our award-winning Plaza Premium Lounge at Terminal 2, 3, 4 and 5 have been well received for the variety of services. Our international guests are now asking for a comfortable space to sleep when they land early or late at night. Aerotel London Heathrow is our answer to travellers’ pain points,” said Song Hoi-see, Founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group. “Heathrow is our long-time partner and we appreciate their trust and support through the past years. We are confident to become an integral part of the airport and uplift the airport hospitality experience for all travellers.”
Located only a five-minute walk to the nearest central bus station and a six-minute walk to Heathrow Express, the hotel is ideal for individual, business and family travellers (up to a group of four). All guestrooms are equipped with power showers, soothing lighting to ensure a restful sleep, and ‘sleep tea’, a nod to British tea culture.
All-day dining is available at the Library Lounge, where guests can enjoy a variety of hot and cold food and drinks, Wi-Fi and reading materials.
John Arbuckle, Heathrow’s Head of Property, said: “We are delighted to have worked with Aerotel to bring Heathrow passengers to this new, comfortable, modern hotel next to Terminal 3 Arrivals. This will be really valuable for customers in need of a quiet haven to rest, relax and prepare for their onward journey.”
