Playa Hotels & Resorts recently expanded its Jewel Resorts brand with the addition of the two new Jewel Resorts in the D.R.

Open since December 2022, Jewel Punta Cana is the first-ever Jewel resort in the D.R. The 620-room all-ages resort is located 35 minutes from the Punta Cana International Airport on the palm-fringed Uvero Alto Beach.

And 20 minutes away from Jewel Punta Cana and facing the Caribbean Sea, the 500-room Jewel Palm Beach debuted shortly after its sister property, in January 2023.
