TORONTO — Iconic Canadian news anchor Peter Mansbridge has been announced as a featured speaker at GBTA’s upcoming 14th annual conference in Toronto.

Taking place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from April 16-18, this year’s conference will address the rapid acceleration of change taking place in business travel, with ‘momentum’ being the main theme.

As one of Canada’s most respected and recognizable figures, Mansbridge will highlight the very real contribution of Canada – and its citizens – in building a better world. He spent 29 years as anchor of CBC’s ‘The National’, where he guided viewers through the political , economic and cultural events that have shaped the country.

“It will be a true delight to welcome the iconic Peter Mansbridge to the stage at GBTA Conference 2018 Toronto,” said Nancy Tudorache, director of operations for GBTA Canada. “Mr. Mansbridge is one of Canada’s most prominent names in TV journalism, and he will surely impart wisdom from his decades of experience to our attendees.”
