TORONTO — The winner of Visit Oakland’s exciting Adele contest had a “fantastic time” and described the concert as “very emotional.”

As the grand prize winner, Andrea Pattison, Travel Manager of Corporate Traveller in B.C., won two roundtrip airfares to Melbourne, Australia, three nights’ accommodation and two tickets to see the Grammy award-winning singer in concert on March 18.

“Adele was amazing, she was so funny and told a lot of stories as well as showed personal pictures. It was very emotional,” said Pattison. “Even though there were over 70,000 people in the stadium, it felt very intimate. Our seats were really good and we had a great view of everything.
