TORONTO — Blair Hirtle has been named the new Account Manager for Western Canada for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA).

Hirtle has extensive experience in the tourism and travel industry having worked for Tourism Whistler, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and Pr1me Strategies. His background includes a number of roles in marketing, sales and community relations.

In his new role he will be responsible for managing the travel trade activities for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and promoting tourism in Western Canada. He will be based in Vancouver but his territory extends from Manitoba west to B.C.
