OTTAWA — CAA North & East Ontario has appointed Patricia Marques to the role of Director, Sales.

A travel industry veteran, Marques boasts more than 18 years of experience with CAA South Central Ontario and CAA National. In her new role she will be responsible for retail travel stores, partner relationships, product development, travel operations, the Travel and Membership Call Centres as well as the Corporate Membership and Business Development Teams.

Marques will pay particularly attention to building a strong return to travel with emphasis on a travel business strategy for CAA North & East Ontario.

“I am looking forward to helping the entire team to navigate through booking travel in the pandemic with confidence, drawing strength due to the fact they work for an organization that ha showed great resilience throughout this crisis,” she says.

Marques first began her travel career 26 years ago as a travel consultant with Preston Travel in Cambridge, Ontario and also taught at Conestoga College and the Toronto School of Business. She joined CAA in 2003 as a store manager before working her way to Travel Product Development Manager and, most recent, Manager of Travel Services with CAA National.
