TORONTO — Pathways of the World says its recent roadshow – including dates in Quebec and, for the first time ever, Ontario – was a resounding success.
The travel company, which operates as Sentiers du Monde in Quebec, says close to 200 travel agencies were represented at the shows, which took place across the two provinces last month. As reported earlier, this was the second edition of the roadshow, after a debut in 2019.
This year’s show partners came from the four corners of the globe and represented nearly 30 destinations, according to Pierre Couture, President, Pathways of the World.
“We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your presence and commitment. Your passion for travel and your constant desire to offer unforgettable experiences to your customers are a source of inspiration for us. Thanks to you, we are convinced that our destinations and products will find a place of choice in the hearts of many travelers. We look forward to working with you to create unforgettable memories,” said Couture.
Travel advisors including Viviane Poirier with Laurier du Vallon were impressed. “I loved my experience! In fact, I loved the idea of the speed dating tables, it was so much fun,” said Poirier.
Pathways of the World also shared this feedback from Annick Gagné with Voyages Infinity: “I loved the Pathways of the World training, especially the way it was presented, dealing directly with the representatives, discussing each destination, it was a different experience. My favourite of the day was Oman, which I thought was a great destination.”
The company specializes in small group travel, private tours, as well as guaranteed departures anywhere in the world in the form of discovery tours, immersive and experiential or active travel. Couture said the launch of the English-language brand Pathways of the World in June 2024 represents a further step in the company’s commitment to offering high-quality bilingual products to Canadian travel agencies.
