“Palace Resorts invites guests to ‘Live the Palace Life’, a concept that reflects the unmatched offerings we provide at each of our resorts throughout Mexico and the Caribbean. The new Moon Grand will take the concept and our offering to the next level, by creating a world that transcends convention and expectations,” said Gibran Chapur, Executive Vice President of Palace Resorts. “Moon Grand offers guests the luxury and tailored touch of a boutique experience coupled with the grandeur of a world-class resort destination.”
While the company will continue to expand to new markets with exciting new properties, it will also cultivate its core portfolio with projects like Moon Grand, he added.

Moon Grand is Palace Resorts’ response to the underserved luxury family segment, added Sandor Winkler, Chief Development Officer for Palace Resorts.

While Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort will continue to allure discerning travelers “from all walks of life”, says the company, the new Moon Grand section will appeal to sophisticates seeking a tailored luxury lifestyle experience. Beyond positioning Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort as Cancun’s definitive entertainment resort, Palace Resorts says it’s looking to transform the AAA Four Diamond property to rival destination hotels on a global scale.

For dining options, Moon Grand will offer gourmet Asian, traditional Italian, Caribbean, French, Lebanese and authentic Mexican flavours, among others.

The newly enhanced Moon Grand will also offer more than 80,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Renovation additions will provide Moon Grand visitors with multiple meeting rooms, a theatre with room for nearly 1,000 guests, ballrooms, exhibition areas, outdoor spaces and more.

For kids, beyond the addition of two Palace Resorts family-friendly staples – ‘The Playroom’ for young guests and a sleekly designed teens club – guests of all ages will have hours of indoor and outdoor entertainment at their disposal via a massive waterpark and six-lane bowling alley.

When the sun sets, adults can check out eight bars and lounges and two on-property nightclubs, with the addition of a new expansive nightlife destination. Moon Grand’s new “Unique” nightclub will feature live entertainment, specialty cocktails and dramatic décor.

Rounding out the total Palace-lifestyle, Moon Grand’s new 76,875 square foot Awe-Spa will feature more than 60 spa suites, a hydrotherapy circuit, plunge pools and steam and sauna rooms.
