TORONTO — The Travel Agent Next Door (TTAND) has wrapped up its annual fall roadshows with over 500 travel advisors attending this year.

The events, which were hosted by TTAND’s CEO Flemming Friisdahl, COO Jeff Element and Director of Marketing Christine Ufniak, took place in 16 cities across Canada including Halifax, Moncton, Montreal, Ottawa, Chatham, London, Oakville, Barrie, North Toronto, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Red Deer, Edmonton, Vancouver and Victoria.

At each event, travel advisors learned about various new exclusive tech tools that TTAND has developed to enhance their productivity and sales. Ufniak also held a session on the importance of managing a database of clients, while Element discussed cybersecurity and the importance of two-factor authentication. Advisors were also updated on the upcoming staff retreat in Dubai where TTAND teams from Canada and India will meet this fall.

Several suppliers joined TTAND executives on the road, showcasing their products to advisor partners at each stop. These suppliers include Norwegian Cruise Line, Insight Vacations, Playa Hotels & Resorts, Expedia TAAP and Adventure Canada.
