Outrigger Enterprises Group has announced the launch of a dedicated beachfront resort brand, Outrigger Resorts, which includes its existing properties in Hawaii, as well as Australia, Fiji, Guam, Thailand, Mauritius and the Maldives.
Along with the launch of Outrigger Resorts, the company has also rebranded its 15 resort condominium properties in Hawaii, which will now fall under Hawaii Vacation Condos by Outrigger.
“Our goal is to be known as the premier beachfront resort brand in the world, said David Carey, president and chief executive officer, Outrigger Enterprises Group. “We know beachfront destinations and have the experience to do it better than anyone else. Our guests will be able to rediscover Outrigger with authentic localized experiences in iconic destinations, paired with unmatched hospitality. Outrigger is an exceptional experience where ‘Local Culture Meets World-Class Hospitality.’”
Additional updates and amenities will be phased in at existing Outrigger Resorts over the next few years and become part of all future projects. These updates include the addition of iconic beachfront bars, capitalizing on the brand’s prime beach locations as well as exceptional spas and Voyager 47 — a premier club lounge offering grand views and elevated guest amenities. The number 47 is a nod to the year when Outrigger Enterprises’ founders, Roy and Estelle Kelley, opened their first hotel in 1947.
As Outrigger Resorts transforms to include new updates and enhancements to the guest experience, Outrigger Enterprises Group’s 15 resort condominium properties on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island will become the newly branded Hawaii Vacation Condos by Outrigger.
The properties under this brand will include vacation apartment- and villa-style accommodations located in prime locations – a perfect fit for families and groups of friends looking for a home base on their Hawaiian vacations.
Outrigger’s new brand vision also includes a refreshed corporate look and marketing campaign, with an updated logo highlighting the Outrigger canoe.
“With our brand revitalization we are creating a solid foundation that will help fuel our future growth and build upon Outrigger’s position in the hospitality industry, said Carey. “As Outrigger has expanded to nearly 11,000 rooms at more than 40 properties worldwide, we have continued to stay true to our roots and the family-run business ideals on which we were founded.”
