PALMA, SPAIN — NexusTours, part of the Sunwing Travel Group, has signed a new partnership with Hotelbeds to be the preferred provider for transfers and experiences in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
Hotelbeds is regarded as the world’s leading bedbank, while NexusTours is a full-service destination management company that offers ground transportation, tours, excursions and other travel management services in 56 destinations throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America and the United States.
Through this new partnership, NexusTours will gain access to Hotelbeds’ 60,000 travel trade buyers from more than 140 source markets worldwide, including tour operators, airlines, points redemption programs and retail travel agencies, many of which provide access to international travellers who often book further in advance, cancel less and stay for longer.
At the same time, Hotelbeds’ customers will have access to a leading DMC in Mexico and the D.R., with an extensive portfolio of shared, private and luxury transfer services from all airports and ports, and over 5,000 excursions. NexusTours products will be added to Hotelbeds’ wider Beyond The Bed global portfolio, which already features over 18,000 activities in 690 destinations, 25,000 transfer routes in 1,100 destinations as well as theme park attractions and entrance tickets for global events.
Moreover, the end customers of Hotelbeds’ 60,000+ travel trade buyers will have access to NexusTours’ recently launched Concierge Service, which through local experts, supports travellers from before their arrival and throughout their stay.
